Let’s talk about STAYING IN YOUR OWN LANE…
How does this phrase make you feel? For me, the stubborn headed – you can’t tell me what to do – side of me kicks in. But jokes aside, this episode is all about the question – are you paying attention to what you’re doing or are you paying more attention to what everyone else is doing around you.
This past week has been a nothing but lessons in this for me in STAYING IN MY LANE:
• Watching football and Liverpool’s end of season drama… I found myself saying to a friend… “I’m going to watch the rival team” and it really made me stop and think – why would I focus on the competition and not my team???
• At my son’s sports day last week I joined the mums in an egg and spoon race and was in the lead then what did I do… glanced over at the competition and go came 5th.
When it comes to our business, it’s so easy to get caught up in our own heads as we see others doing all the “things”. It can result in holding back from putting ourselves out there and showing up for our own business. In this episode I have some thoughts about staying in your lane because the reality is – no one is going to do your business like you are so stay true to YOUR path!
