Stay Focused

2022-Episode 7

Here are 4 Tips I’m doing that can help…

It’s week 2 as I prepare to launch, and I’ve got 4 TIPS to share that are helping me to stay focused.

What do you do as you’re preparing to launch that new service, or maybe you’re repurposing your business to grow – and everything keeps getting in the way?

With only 5 weeks to launch and slow progress so far, it’s time to up my game and really stay focused and committed! This week I’m talking about 4 amazing things that I am doing that are helping me to make progress and keep the focus to get to the finish line as I work to launch The Inspired Hub Membership!

It is HOT, HOT, HOT here in Bermuda – and thing are also heating up for me over here while I’m working to launch the Membership. Things have been a little slow going so far. It’s been a bit of a struggle with summer, kids out of school, camps etc… and I caught myself. I remembered a conversation I had with a friend relating to low numbers in my Zumba class (check out inspired.bm/fitness if you are interested). It seems at any time in the year we can find excuses – it’s too hot, it’s too cold, it’s back to school, end of school, it’s daylight savings and so on. We can find excuses at any time so let’s stop and recognize and avoid doing that!

I’ve really been focusing on 4 things this week to help to keep me focused and I wanted to share them with you:

Batch Working – we can get deep into this but it’s the concept of allotting time to sit and focus on 1 type of task. Take something like your Social Media and you take 2 hours to do nothing else but produce and post 2 weeks’ worth of content. Or maybe it’s sales and you assign 3 hours to do nothing but that. Whatever works for your business.

Finding Extra Time in My Day – It’s been a summer of working 9:30-3:30 it seems, with camp drop offs and pick-ups. To make more progress I’ve focused on finding more time in my day. Waking up a little earlier to get an hour in and making time in the evenings to spend an hour getting ahead.

Prioritising Healthy Habits – Getting intentional about this and really focusing on a few that will help keep up my energy as I go through this time. The main one being SLEEP! A few others being cutting out alcohol (as best I can) and making healthier eating choices.

Eliminating Distractions – Removing things that are causing you stress, anxiety, or make you feel inadequate. It’s not worth the distraction of watching or concerning yourself with what others are doing. Unfollow social accounts, step away from friends that may be causing issues and really prioritise you and your goals.

I hope these 4 things may be a little help for you in your business. Please continue to join me on this rollercoaster of a ride over the next 5 WEEKS as I countdown to launching The Inspired Hub Membership on September 23rd. I’ll continue to fill you in on my progress and take a look at the reality of what it takes to get to the finish line!
